* MISSING. (Tampering? Brotherly Love? ))

     Suspicious ?

(With thanks to Ron Richo, a longtime Kennedy Assassination researcher, for challenging my assumptions.)

It is easy to get distracted by  sloppy journalistic claims about JFK's missing brain (see "Inquirer" article below).  David Lifton's bestseller Best Evidence claims the casket was switched between Dallas and Bethesda and his body was sent to Bethesda National Hospital for alteration, especially to the brain, so that it would look like there was a single bullet trajectory, not two bullets.

A recent  (LINK) New York Post article mocks the newest book to emerge on the subject by calling the theory that Kennedy's brain was stolen,  "brain gate," a reference to the Watergate scandal in which the White House of Richard Nixon was itself complicit in crime:

Conspiracy theorists have posited that the brain was stolen to conceal evidence that the president was shot from the front — perhaps from the grassy knoll — instead of the official version of events, that the gunfire came from the rear, from the Texas School Book Depository.
Swanson [ author of the latest book mentioned above] rejects that the brain vanished as part of a nefarious plot to hide the facts of the assassination.
“My conclusion is that Robert Kennedy did take his brother’s brain — not to conceal evidence of a conspiracy but perhaps to conceal evidence of the true extent of President Kennedy’s illnesses, or perhaps to conceal evidence of the number of medications that President Kennedy was taking,” he said.

All that is a molehill compared to the mountain which stares us in the face on the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's death this coming week, November 22:

The brain itself ----the only physical evidence which can confirm or refute the conspiracy theory of more than one shooter ----is missing, nowhere to be found.

I have heard two hypotheses:
Ted Kennedy dumped it ---- and its metal cylinder container --- --into the ocean to spare the family further grief.
Bobby Kennedy did the same for a different reason: So history would not know how ill JFK was during his presidency (due to his Addison's disease and back injury) through analysis of the dosage of amphetamines and other meds in his brain tissue.

“In October 1966, it was discovered that the brain, the tissue slides and other autopsy materials were missing -- and they have never been seen since,” Swanson told the New York Post.
An investigation was ordered by former Attorney General Ramsey Clark. Although it failed to recover the brain, it did “uncover compelling evidence suggesting that former Attorney General Robert Kennedy, aided by his assistant Angie Novello, had stolen the locker,” Swanson says.
Either way---- Teddy or Bobby ----  they both are dead and cannot confirm or deny.

What is undeniable however is that the brain is missing.

Can there be any possible acceptable explanation for tampering with the history of a presidential assassination by removing evidence?

I think not.

What is shocking  --- with the passage of five decades --- is how passive and gullible are the American public and the so-called intelligentsia.

Not just any brain is missing:

The President of the United States' brain is missing.

Come now.
