Journalist Zakaria resigns from Yale Corporation after plagiarism charge.

I am concerned about erosion.

Once the soil is gone it is hard to replace.  

If there are no roots holding it together it washes away all the more rapidly.

What effect does it have on our children that our athletes are liars, our journaisits are plagiarizers, our politicians are adulterers, our priests are child abusers, our food is poisoned, our water contains arsenic, our schools cheat on test reporting,  and on and on?

It seems as if the only people in society who are actually what they purport to be are actors:

Phony is actually phony.
