This is an excellent
lesson for Yale students. Too many students are pulled into the leverage-fed
investment banks and the mediocre non-profits. Yale needs more builders,
creators, innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs, business owners...
The greatest gifts to
mankind are Christianity, markets, the British Empire
and penicillin. Yale does a disservice to students by ignoring the first three.

Christianity?
Did you overlook the
violence to millions of folks, committed in its name (Crusade anyone?), the
utter arrogance and country-club elitism of declaring no one can come to the
father (Ultimate Reality) except through the son (a "Christ" cooked
up forty years after the death of the Palestinian Carpenter named Joshua ben
Joseph by his fanatic followers, including the misogynistic Saint, Paul, and
then "Trinitized" deacdes later in a political treaty called the
Council of Nicea)?
Council of Nicea)?
Did you overlook
this?
As Bertrand Russell
said in "Why I am Not a Christian":
Any religion which
introduced into the world the notion of "eternal damnation" is ipso
facto, evil.

Wow, a wealthy white
Western man's opinion about the state of the world. I had never heard that
before.

A wealthy white man whose Principia Mathematica (with Alfred North Whitehead) is considered the most important contribution to mathematics since Eucid.
A wealthy white man who at 88 fathered the world-wide Anti-Nuclear movement.
A wealthy white man who convened the first World Court as its Chief Justice and tried the United States for War crimes (Guilty!).
